There might be instances when the personnel fields that you want to update or add are specific to a personnel type. In addition, you might want to limit the fields that are available to the operator editing the personnel record. In these cases, use the Personnel Views for Web feature.

Note: The Last Name field is mandatory for personnel views. You cannot remove it from the form, but you can relocate it to another drop area. Mobile Phone Options require an email address. If you add a Mobile Phone Option in the drop area, the email address field is included automatically.

For example, if you want to assign First Name, Last Name, Email Address and Credentials to any contractors added to your system. Create a personnel view that contains only those options, and then you can assign that personnel view to the Contractor personnel type.
