Performance guidelines

  • Ensure that your workstation's display adapter drivers are up to date.
  • If you change the monitor resolution, restart the workstation.
  • Ensure that the monitor refresh is set to maximum, usually 60Hz.
  • Set Receive Buffers on the Network Interface (NIC) to maximum.
  • If the performance fluctuates when under high loads:
    • Reduce monitor resolution and restart the workstation.
    • Adjust your operating system's visual effects for optimum performance.
    • Close all other applications or non-critical services.
