Object templates
You can create templates for different object types in C•CURE IQ. In the
template, you can configure settings that you want to re-use for multiple objects. When
you use a template to create a new object, any settings that you configure in the
template are copied into the new object automatically.
Note: After
you use a template to create an object, you can edit the settings that are copied
from the template. Some settings, for example Name and Description, are not copied
from a template.
For example, if you want to assigning clearances to each employee in a building, you can create a personnel template that has those clearances. You can use the personnel template to create each employee’s personnel profile. Using a template for this process is quicker than assigning clearances to each personnel record individually.
To create an object template, or to use a template to create a new object, click the Templates button on the top-right of the pane.

Active templates
If you use an active template to create an object, the object remains linked to the
active template. Settings that you configure in the active template become read-only
fields in the connected object. If you edit settings for the active template, those
settings update automatically for any objects that are connected to the active
template.
Note: In C•CURE IQ, you
can create active templates for operators.
