Date Range

You can select date range on hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly basis. You can also provide custom dates to narrow down the search and view accurate concise data. Following is the detail description for date range filter:

  • By Months: By default, Occupancy Dashboard displays the data for one month. You can view data for 1-14 months (based on license).

If you select date range as one or two months, then occupancy trend line chart shows weekly basis details. According to line chart, a week starts from Sunday and end on Saturday. Hence, when you select a month, then weekly line chart displays the occupancy data starting from previous week Sunday to the next week Saturday (independent of date). If you are viewing a month of data in weekday, then in line chart, end date will be future Saturday of current week.

If you select date range as more than two months, then occupancy trend line chart shows monthly basis details.

  • By Weeks: By default, the Occupancy Dashboard displays data for a one-week period, showing the number of personnel swipes on a daily basis.

You can select a date range of up to four weeks. If you select date range as a single week, the occupancy trend chart presents daily data. However, if the selected date range exceeds one week, the data is aggregated weekly—from Sunday to Saturday—and displays under the corresponding Saturday’s date. For instance, attendance from June 1, 2025 (Sunday) to June 7, 2025 (Saturday) will be grouped under June 7, 2025.

  • By Days: If you select date range by days, then for one day, occupancy trend bar chart displays the data on hourly basis. For one day, you can also view occupancy snapshot and actual cost snapshot for partition you have selected. When you hover over the bar chart strips, it shows the count of the occupancy and actual cost details.

For more than one day, data in chart displays on daily basis.

  • By Hours: If you select date range by hours, then for 24 hours, occupancy trend bar chart displays the data on hourly basis. You can view the data for 1-24 hours.

In certain scenarios, when you select a one-hour time range for data display, the Occupancy Trend chart may render two bar lines instead of one. This behavior is typically due to a timezone mismatch between the client machine and the data source server.

Specifically, the server providing the occupancy data may be operating in a different timezone than the user's local machine. This discrepancy can result in the data being split across two time intervals.

  • Custom: For custom, you can select the date range as starting date and end date.
