The Activity Viewer tracks all system activities, such as user log on,
personnel access, device errors, and messages. If the activity viewer is online, it
displays real-time notifications for events.
You can monitor system activities from any web layout that contains the Activity
Viewer module. When you create a web layout, you can also customize which activities
appear in its activity viewer
As new activities occur, they appear at the top of the Activity Viewer list.
However, new activities do not appear while the operator is scrolling through the list.
After a certain amount of time (set by the system administrator), the cursor returns to
the top of the list to display the most recent message.Figure 1. The Activity Viewer module

Filtering Tools
To customize the types of activities that appear
in the Activity Viewer, you can apply filters to the Activity
Viewer. You can filter by message text, message type, object type,
date range, and date time.

Event count
The event count icon displays a count of the
number of events that are displayed in the Activity Viewer.

Pause activity viewer
Click this icon to pause the viewer for 30
seconds. To unpause the stream, either wait for the countdown to
end, or click the play icon to display activities again.
