Creating an operator
- In the navigation menu, click Configuration.
- In the Configuration menu, expand Operator & Privilege, and then click Operator.

In the Operator module, select one of the following
options:
- To create a new operator, click Add New.
- To use a template to create a new operator, click Templates, and then click Add From Template.
- To use an active template to create a new operator, click Templates, and then click Create From Active Template.
- In the Name field, enter a name for the operator.
- Optional: In the Active Template field, select an active template to apply to the operator. Any settings that you configure in the active template are automatically configured for the operator.
- If your system is partitioned, in the Partition list, select a partition to assign the operator to.
- Optional: In the Description field, enter a description for the operator.
- To enable the operator, select the Enabled check box.

On the General tab, configure the following
settings:
- In the Username field, enter a user name.
- In the Password and Confirm Password fields, enter a password for the operator.

On the Privilege tab, complete the following
steps:
- Optional: To assign application layouts to the operator, click the Layout tab, and then click Add New. Select the layout that you want to add, and then click Ok.
- Optional: To review the groups that the operator is assigned to, click the Groups tab.
- To configure user-defined operator fields, click the User Defined Fields tab.
- To assign web views and web layouts to the operator, click the Web tab.
- Click Save.
