Creating a video view

  1. From the Configuration menu, expand Video and then click Video Views.
  2. On the Video Views page, click the Add New button.
  3. On the Create Video View screen, in the Name field, type a name for the video view.
  4. Optional: In the Description field, type a description for the video view.
  5. Optional: If your system is partitioned, in the Partition list, select a partition for the video view.
    Note: You can change the partition only when you create a new video view. If you edit a video view after creation, the Partition field is read-only.
  6. Optional: Choose a grid size for the video view.
    1. Click the grid icon above the video monitoring panes.
    2. On the menu, click a grid size.
  7. Expand the Cameras list.
  8. In the Search box, search for a camera, or select a camera from the list.
  9. Drag and drop the cameras from the Cameras menu to the Video Monitoring panes.
  10. Click the Save button.
