Field	Description
SMTP Server	The name of the SMTP mail server or the IP address used to send email messages from the computer that hosts C•CURE IQ. Example: mailserver
Email Port	SMTP Port. The default port is 25. Email sent over the Internet is routed through port 25 to transmit data to remote e-mail servers. If the Internet Service Provider or IT policies block port 25, you may need to unblock it or enter an alternate port number. If port 25 is blocked by a firewall or anti-virus scanning program, email functions that use the Email Configuration option might fail. This value must be between 1 and 99999.
Sender Email Address	The default email address of the message sender.
User Password	User password of the sender (optional). The password is required if the SMTP server is configured for authentication. The password will be encrypted.
Use SSL	If the Use SSL check box is selected, email will be sent encrypted over a secure channel.
Journal Unsent and Deleted Email	Click this option to add a journal message when the email is unsent and deleted.
Maximum Time to Retry Sending an Email (Hours)	Set the amount of time in hours that C•CURE 9000 keeps unsent emails in the system. The default time is 120.
Recipient Email Address	Default email address of the recipient. You can enter a single email address or enter multiple addresses, each one separated by a comma. The Recipient email address is typically used by C•CURE 9000 features that have the capacity to send email, such as Send Email and Run Report actions.
Send Test Email	Click the Send Test Email button to verify that the email server is reachable and can deliver a test email to the recipient.
Enable Email TCP/IP Polling	Select this option to poll the email server and check its status.
Use Email Address for Polling	Select this option if you want to use an email address when polling the email server.
Polling Interval (minutes)	Set the amount of time in minutes between each poll to an email server. The minimum amount of time that you can enter is 15 minutes. The default value is 60 minutes.
Email Address for Polling	Default email address of the server.
