Recorder management context menu
When you view a list of recorders, click the three-dot menu beside each device in the list to view the context menu.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Edit | Edit the device. |
| Preview Cameras | Open a preview of cameras for the device. |
| View Cameras in Monitoring Layout | Open the device in the Monitoring application. |
| Update | From the sub-menu, click Add to Group to add a device to a group. |
| From the sub-menu, click Set Property to set a property for the device. | |
| Associations | View the device’s associations. |
| Find in Audit | Open the Find in Audit window, where you can search for entries in the Audit Log that reference the selected device. The search results are displayed in a separate dynamic view. |
| Find in Journal | Open the Find in Journal window, where you can search for
entries in the journal that reference the selected device. The
search results are displayed in a separate dynamic view. Note: For VideoEdge recorders, if you want to
view the clip export logs, do not use the Find in Journal
context menu option. Instead, use the Find in Journal options
from the Monitoring page. For more information, see Audit and Journal. |
| Manage Tags | Open the Tag Manager window to apply or remove tags from the recorder. |
| Open Server Configuration Page | Open the VideoEdge server configuration page and manage VideoEdge settings. |
| Open Configuration Page | Open the Exacq recorder configuration page and manage Exacq settings. |
| Delete | Click to delete the device. |
