Option Description
Find in Audit Select this option to open a Query Parameters dialog box where you can search for entries in the Audit Log that reference the selected object. The search results are displayed in a separate dynamic view.
Find in Journal Select this option to open a Query Parameters dialog box where you can search in the Journal for records of activity (messages) that reference the selected event. The search results are displayed in a separate dynamic view.
Acknowledge Click to Acknowledge the Event.
Acknowledge and Clear Click to Acknowledge and Clear the selected Event.
Log Message Click to enter a Log Message, or to select a Predefined Log Message.
View Click to view the Event.
Assess event Opens the Assess Event Application Layout for the selected Event.
Activate To make the selected event active. For example, selecting a Sound Alarm event and selecting Activate from the context menu makes the alarm actually sound. This is a Manual Action on the event.
Deactivate To make the selected event inactive. For example, selecting a Sound Alarm event and selecting Deactivate from the context menu would turn off the active alarm sound. This is a Manual Action on the event.
Arm Select Arm to manually arm the Event. This change is logged in the Activity Viewer as a Manual Action.
Disarm Select Disarm to manually disarm the Event. This change is logged in the Activity Viewer as a Manual Action.
Latch Click to Latch an Event. When you Latch an Event, the Event is activated, and it will stay activated until it is the subject of an Unlatch or Toggle Event action (with an equal or higher priority).

The Latch action is added to the Cause list for the Event. If the Event is already Latched, the Latch Event action has no effect.

Upon system restart, host and panel Events retain their Latch state. If the Event is disarmed, the Latch Event option does not appear.

Toggle Click to Toggle an Event. The Event you Toggle is Latched if it is currently Unlatched, or Unlatched if it is currently Latched.

The Latch action is added to the Cause list for the Event. If the Event is neither Latched or Unlatched, the Toggle Event action has no effect.

If the Event is disarmed, the Toggle Event option does not appear.

Pulse Select this option to Pulse an Event.

A Pulse is a momentary activation of an Event. If the minimum activation time is configured in the Event, that value is used as the duration of the Pulse. If the minimum activation time is not configured in the Event, the Pulse lasts for one second. If the Event is disarmed, the Pulse Event option does not appear.

Turn Maintenance Mode On Select this option to enable Maintenance Mode. For more information about Maintenance Mode, refer to the Maintenance Mode chapter of the C•CURE 9000 Hardware Configuration Guide.
