System variables for C•CURE Portal settings

The following table lists system variables used to define various settings for C•CURE Portal.

Note: Any changes you make to these settings variables occur immediately, and do not require a system restart to take effect.

Table 1. C•CURE Portal system variables
System Variable	Description
C•CURE Portal Website URL	The value is a string, the default is a blank string. This system variable contains the URL of the C•CURE Portal. The system generates an e-mail containing the URL of the C•CURE Portal and sends it to configured users of the Visitor and Access Management applications. C•CURE 9000 does not validate that this system variable contains a valid URL. If this system variable is blank, no e-mails are generated to any users of the C•CURE Portal. Example: HTTPS://<machinename>/CCURE_Portal/ This example uses the recommended SSL security (HTTPS) along with the default address <machinename>/CCURE_Portal/ for the portal.
Web user welcome email header	Note: From C•CURE v3.00.2 onwards, you can configure this email header as part of an email template. See the `Web user welcome email template` system variable in this table. This system variable contains a customized header that can be used in the e-mail to welcome users to the C•CURE Portal when they first register. If this system variable string is blank, a default header is used instead. Note: If this field is left blank, the message is automatically translated into the appropriate language. If you enter text, the system does not translate it.
Web user welcome email footer	Note: From C•CURE v3.00.2 onwards, you can configure this email header as part of an email template. See the `Web user welcome email template` system variable in this table. The value is a string; the default value is a blank string. The maximum length of this string is 500 characters. This system variable contains a customized footer that can be used in the in the email that welcomes users to the C•CURE Portal. If this system variable string is blank, a default footer is used instead. Note: If this field is left blank, the message is automatically translated into the appropriate language. If you enter text, the system does not translate it.
Web user welcome email subject line	The value is a string, the default value is a blank string. This system variable contains a customized greeting that can be used in the in the e-mail that welcomes users to the C•CURE Portal. If this system variable string is blank, a default welcome message is used instead. Note: If this field is left blank, the message is automatically translated into the appropriate language. If you enter text, the system does not translate it.
Audit and Review Access Request Site	This system variable determines which personnel fields are displayed when personnel are reviewed or audited. When you edit this variable, you can select an Access Request Site. The Personnel Fields that are configured for that access request site are the fields that are displayed.
Web user welcome email disabled	The value is Boolean; the default value is False. When this System Variable is set to True, when you edit a personnel record, the associated personnel receives a web user welcome email for C•CURE Portal. When this System Variable is set to False, when you edit a personnel record, the associated personnel do not receive a web user email for C•CURE Portal.
Web user welcome email template	Click this variable to configure the welcome email template that is used to create C•CURE Portal enrollment emails. For information about how to configure email templates, refer to the C•CURE 9000 Email Template Reference Guide.
