System variables for UI settings

The following table lists system variables used to define various settings for UI Settings.

Note: Any change you make to the UI Settings variables occur immediately, and does not require a system restart to take effect.

Object Selection Threshold

The number of objects a selection list box shows without displaying a warning about possible delays.

If the number of the objects in the selection list box exceeds the Object Selection Threshold, the list box displays a warning. The warning allows the user to limit the number of objects by specifying one or more alphanumeric characters and clicking Search. See Using the Object Selection Threshold for an example of usage.

The value must be between 500 and 30000.

Dynamic View Row Limit

The maximum number of rows displayed for a Dynamic View.

The number must be between 10000 and 500000.

Credential Active Status Color

The color that is used to show that a credential is active.

Credential Expired Status Color

The color that is used to show that a credential has expired.

New Tab Page Items Limit

This variable determines how many items are saved for each operator, to display on the New Tab page. This is in addition to pinned items.

The maximum value is 100.

To disable the New Tab page, set this variable to 0.

Session Timeout

Session inactivity timeout. Enter the number of minutes before an operator is automatically logged out of the Administration Station or Monitoring Station due to inactivity.

The minimum value is 0.

The maximum value is 120.

To prevent inactivity tracking, set the value to 0.
