System variables for the Journal lists system variables used to define various settings for the Journal.

Note: Any changes you make to these Journal variables occur immediately, and do not require a system restart to take effect.

Journal Sync Upload Block Size

This setting affects Satellite Application Server (SAS) only. It defines how many journal records upload to the Master Application Server (MAS) in each block for batch-upload sync operation.

The value must be between 100 and 10000.

Journal Volume Size

This value controls when the system automatically changes to a new volume, and concerns the legacy Journal that contains volumes prior to v2.70 only.

You can write new volumes during the process of database synchronization only. This is the maximum number of messages that can be stored in a journal volume.

The value must be between 10000 and 99999999999999999.
