Event Handling settings

System variables in the Event Handling category allow you to determine certain settings for the operation of the behavior of events. For example, events you disarm are still active in the Event Viewer because you need to Acknowledge.

Journal Event Cause Removal

This variable affects events that have the Log subsequent causes to journal setting enabled.

When this variable is True, it logs cause removal for events that do not change from the active state.

This is system-wide setting that might affect journal and system performance.
