Creating a video clip

  1. Open a web layout that contains a video monitoring module.
  2. To activate the video controls bar, select at least one video pane that contains a camera.
  3. To record a clip, complete the following steps:
    1. To start recording the clip, in the video controls bar, click the Start Clip icon.
    2. To stop recording the clip, in the video controls bar, click the End Clip icon.
    The clip is sent to the clip builder.
  4. To create a clip automatically, click the Quick Download icon, and then select one of the following options:
    • To download the clip to your computer, select a time period from the list. The clip is initially sent to the clip builder, and then the clip downloads automatically.
    • To send the clip to the clip builder, click Add to Clip Builder.

    You can access the generated clip from your browser’s download folder. A record of the clip export appears in the C•CURE journal.

    Note: Download times vary, depending on the size of the video clip. Do not close your browser or log off of C•CURE IQ until the clip download is complete.
